Harp Technologies presented its “Higher-Order Ferrite Junction Switch for Radiometer Calibration” at the international joint conference of the 9th Global Symposium on Millimeter-Waves (GSMM2016) and the 7th ESA Workshop on Millimetre-Wave Technology and Applications. The joint conference took place in Espoo, Finland, on June 6th-8th, 2016. On this topic, Mr. Huy Nguyen of Harp Technologies presented a new low-loss switch design for millimetre waves, which is suitable for radiometer calibration and for other critical applications. The GSMM is organised annually and the ESA workshop typically every three years and the current conference concentrated on recent breakthroughs, innovations, and emerging techniques in the field of millimetre-wave and terahertz science and technology, especially in sensing and communications.
