Harp Technologies Ltd (est. 2007) is a privately-owned Finnish company located in Otaniemi, Espoo,
Finland, with excellent public transport connections. We develop cutting-edge RF and microwave
technology for space, remote sensing, defence, and telecom/IoT applications. Our customers include
leading companies and public organisations, e.g., the European Space Agency (ESA). Our
activities are organised into four business lines: Microwave Sensors, Microwave Components, Signal
Processing, and Electromagnetics.
We are now looking for a
RF & Microwave Design Engineer (B.Sc., M.Sc., or D.Sc.) for the development of an airborne
microwave instrument to validate ESA’s earth observation satellite measurements..
We welcome applications from experienced engineers, fresh graduates, as well as students at the
final stage of their studies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Studies and/or work experience in RF and microwave engineering (design, development,
and measurements) - Experience in relevant design and simulation tools
- Fluent English skills (both spoken and written)
- Existing eligibility to work in Finland (EU/EEA citizenship or residence permit in Finland)
WE VALUE ALSO:
- Experience in equipment prototyping and measurements
- Good understanding of active and/or passive microwave remote sensing systems
- Studies/experience in related fields (e.g., antenna design, electronics, mechanical…)
- Studies/experience in spacecraft engineering
- Finnish skills
CONTENTS OF THE WORK:
- The whole cycle of RF systems design and development, ranging from specification, design,
manufacturing, and testing up to reporting and delivery - Potentially, work also in other fields (electronics, electromagnetics, thermal, and/or mechanical
design; project management; quality assurance, …), depending on the experience and
interest of the candidate
