Mr Teemu Ruokokoski, M.Sc., has joined Harp Technologies’ engineering team. Mr. Ruokokoski has extensive experience in microwave, millimetre wave, and electronics design and development, and his competence will be valuable for many ongoing and future customer projects.

Harp Technologies signs a contract with the ESA
The European Space Agency (ESA) has assigned Harp Technologies to develop multi-frequency terminal antennas using metamaterials (Artificial Magnetic Conductors). The development will take place in cooperation with Helsinki University of Technology (TKK). The objective of the project is to advance the European state of the art in multi-frequency terminal antenna technology.
Harp Technologies completes a study for FMI-ARC
Harp Technologies has successfully completed a study on a satellite receiving station for the Finnish Meteorological Institute, Arctic Research Centre (FMI-ARC). According to the FMI-ARC, “the objectives of the assignment were fully reached, and the results of the study can be used beneficially in further expanding the capabilities of FMI-ARC”.
Harp Technologies assigned to the SMOS-Ops project
EADS CASA Espacio (Spain) has contracted Harp Technologies to provide consultancy in Phase A of the SMOS-Ops project, which aims to develop an operational follow-on for the European SMOS remote sensing satellite.
